REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Dust Devil Excavation LLC, we strive to provide reliable, high-quality services and equipment for our customers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, credits, or cancellations may be issued for services, rentals, and deliveries.

1. Services (Excavation & Junk Removal)

1.1 Deposits

Certain services may require a deposit to secure scheduling and equipment. Deposits are non-refundable once the project is scheduled, unless Dust Devil Excavation LLC cancels or reschedules due to weather, safety, or equipment issues.

1.2 Cancellations

  • Customer-Initiated Cancellation (48+ hours notice):
    No service fee. Deposits may be credited toward future work at our discretion.

  • Customer-Initiated Cancellation (Less than 48 hours notice):
    A cancellation fee of up to 25% of the service quote may be charged to cover lost time and scheduling.

  • Same-Day Cancellation or No-Show:
    Full deposit is forfeited and additional labor/travel costs may apply.

1.3 Refunds for Services

Refunds for completed services are generally not issued, as excavation and junk removal work is performed on-site and billed based on labor, equipment time, and disposal fees.
If you believe there was an issue with service quality, please contact us within 3 days of completion and we will review your concern.

2. Equipment Rentals & Barricade Rentals

2.1 Rental Payments

Full or partial payment may be required prior to pickup or delivery. All payments for rental periods are non-refundable once the rental term begins.

2.2 Cancellations

  • 48+ hours before rental start:
    Eligible for a full refund or credit.

  • Less than 48 hours before rental start:
    A cancellation fee of 20% of the rental total may apply.

2.3 Early Returns

Returning equipment early does not qualify for a prorated refund.

2.4 Damaged or Misused Equipment

Fees may apply for repair, cleaning, or replacement. These charges are non-refundable.

3. Rock & Gravel Delivery

3.1 Order Changes or Cancellations

  • Before materials are loaded:
    Refunds or changes may be allowed.

  • After materials are loaded or en route:
    Orders cannot be canceled or refunded. Delivery, fuel, and restocking fees will apply.

3.2 Delivered Materials

Once delivered and dumped, all material sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or pickup of unused material.

4. General Refund Guidelines

4.1 Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Labor already performed

  • Completed deliveries

  • Equipment used or damaged

  • Disposal fees

  • Fuel surcharges

  • Permits or third-party charges

4.2 Weather or Safety Delays

If work must be rescheduled due to unsafe conditions, Dust Devil Excavation LLC will work with you to set a new date. Refunds are not guaranteed but may be issued at our discretion.

5. Refunds for Future Product Sales

If physical products are offered in the future, the following terms will apply:

  • Unopened / unused items may be returned within 14 days for a refund.

  • Used or custom items are non-refundable.

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective.
